D'artagnan (d'-artagn- an)

I am the third musketeer, born on February 4, 2017. I came to live with my brothers and sisters around 2019 after my current owner was moving and could not take me with him. I had been rehomed previously by my first owner who did not want me anymore due to my high level of care.  Sadly, my second owner caught my back leg in the door when I tried to run out of the house and play so I have a little bit of a limp - mom just says that makes me more special. I too have Waardenburg Syndrome so I have lightened over the years but my only disability is that I love tummy rubs. Kisses are big on my list too, especially when mom chases me around and we play together. I do nip at feet when I want attention sometimes, but that's just because I am too adorable to ignore! My favorite treat is Bandit's soft treats, banana flavor.

Disabilities: Broken back leg healed improperly

I was born on August 2, 2019. I too have Waardenburg Syndrome but do not find myself deaf like my other siblings. Unlike my siblings, I have not had multiple homes where I became attached to people. I was adopted after being returned to the pet store twice for biting my owners. I was only playing, but often I got too rough and the humans did not understand I only needed training. After being adopted, my older brother Dashel and my mom helped me understand that biting my owner was not something that was okay and so now all I ever give is kisses. I am not a huge fan of toys or treats but I do enjoy annoying my brother Soren when I take his ferret chews right as he's eating them.

My name is native to Hawaii for 'flower'. I was born on March 3, 2021 and was selected to be sold for adoption. I have Waardenburg Syndrome but don't tell me that, I can still function just fine. I also am prone to nipping and when I get really carried away because I'm so happy and excited to play, I bite. My brother Rikki and I were being neglected and starved at the pet store we were waiting for adoption at. The humans there did not know how to handle us. Thankfully the sanctuary became aware of our situation and came to bring us home. I have no interest in toys but I will be caught stealing pens and pencils to stash away. I do love my treats and anything to do with water!

Praxidike is a moon orbiting Jupiter. It also means justice. I didn't know what any of it meant I just liked the sound when it was first called to me. I was born August 21, 2020 and am more of a kit-gib, Rikki and Alani keep me great company when I am feeling devious. My sister Kaiah and I have yet another unknown history, only one owner before our previous who did not keep us up to date on our records. We liked our previous home, unfortunately we were too much work for the family due to our constant needs as they expanded their family so they found a fantastic place here where I can chew on feet and tumble with my siblings any time I want. I also enjoy cat teaser toys but mostly I'll play with anything if it moves. I am quite the momma's boy and enjoy chew sticks and being jealous when mom hugs another boy!

My name means reckless and clumsy, which I will never admit that I am. Born December 25, 2020, I found myself at home with a good owner who just didn't have time or energy for me. I love to make a mess and frequently trip over myself while playing. I don't bite, but my adorable face and white socks has all the ladies asking about me. I do enjoy a good swim and playing in the rain is a must! I also am not a fan of treats but anything with a rattle in it and it's mine! I do love my new home, I check up on mom every morning to make sure she is wide awake, even at 2 am! I sadly lost my sister Mera to an unknown issue called  

Gastric dilatation-volvulus, or ferret bloat. It was a sad time but mom did her best to give Mera a good life before the end.

My name is Egyptian for small and precious. I'm not sure what my mom was thinking because I am anything but! I'm a little spitfire who LOVES to get into trouble. Playing is my favorite thing but some of my brothers and sisters say I get a little carried away. My history is quite unknown, presumed born March 14, 2021 and brought to the sanctuary with my brother Jasper who I unfortunately lost to cancer and a liquid filled cyst as large as mom's fist which could not be removed. I have adorable knee patches to complement my white face and though I'm not big on treats I do love Zupreem ferret food as my regular diet.

My name also means princess and with my long soft hair I think it's true! Born January 3, 2022 I was left unadopted at the pet store because of my ferocious tendencies of biting and attacking when I played. All of my littermates were adopted but I was left for weeks until the next shipment of kits came to the store. Because I was much bigger than the others I caught my mom's attention and once discovered that I had behavior issues she couldn't help but feel as though I would never find a good home and brought me to the sanctuary. I now have a good life and my siblings love me very much. I still occasionally bite if you're not careful but mom knows how to manage my mood swings!

Mom searched high and low for my name, translated at its best from Slavic meaning "glorious rule". I am the leader of our group which includes Zarah and FIvver. My siblings and I got left behind by our owner with her ex who did not care for us as pets. When we were picked up, I was very unsure of the human that had taken us in but I have slowly come to realize our mom is the best. She feeds us everything we could possibly want and playtime is the best in the shed. I do bite pretty hard when playing and have even drawn blood on mom but she doesn't blame me as I'm still young with very little human contact to speak of in my past. Born June 11, 2021 (as presumably are my siblings) I look forward to our life here!

Like all of my sisters before me, my name means "princess". I am an independent one though, constantly moving and jumping around so fast even mom can't catch me. I am very glad my brothers and I came to live here, we have more food than we can eat and a water fountain instead of a water bottle that messed up my teeth. I love to swim which I never knew before, and having sisters makes me feel like I'm not alone with the boys! I also bite pretty hard when I get too excited but I've never drawn blood before. Mom never gets mad of course, since it was poor training on behalf of our former home. When I'm not being a wild-child, I enjoy giving kisses to mom and swimming in shallow water just for the fun of it.

My name is Hebrew for "light bringer" and that's exactly what I did when I came to live at the Sanctuary. I recently lost the last of my cage-mates and my human did not want to start a new business as she was growing a family of her own. Instead, she opted to act in my best interest and give me a new home with more siblings than I could ever dream of! I am approximately five years old, so I fit in with the older crowd but don't be fooled I certainly love my play time in the shed! I have yet to pick favorite toys or foods but one thing is for sure, I enjoy having a new sibling to cuddle with every night! Born September 20, 2017.

My name is Everly, or Ever, because mom says she will love me forever and ever. I am more of the take it slow, laid back type that doesn't mind snoozes during the day after waking up to say goodbye to mom in the morning. Contrary to what Aella says, I love giving mom kisses when she's not smothering me to death after a long day away. Naturally I love sleeping more than playing but I don't mind wandering around with a few bounces and war dances to get the blood pumping once in a while.
